I am just as much to "blame" for choosing to attend the event than the friends are to blame for providing the event. The main point of my post was not to blame anyone. Rather it was to point out the underbelly of these community events. Bring the family for a movie, band, fireworks. Dont forget the added bonus of the displays of public intoxication. As for the acts, too slim and company, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy both very nice choices. Winners in my book. Leeroy Bell, not so much. The symphony NO. Big hit with the geriatric crowd though.. If I was going to pick one aspect of Liberty Lake to defend, it would be our beloved Kiwanis. These folks have given so much back to the community without getting anything in return, it’s almost inconceivable.
